Mechanical Engineering

Keeping in mind cutthroat competition in the industries and to cater the needs of mechanical engineers in the industries of Gujarat and beyond, the college has started Mechanical Branch with the intake of 30 seats. In the next year this is likely to be increased by 60 seats.

Available set up for the Mechanical Engineering

1. Thermal Lab
The set up of the thermal lab is well equipped and well furnished with the necessary requirements and demands of the industries. The lab is outfitted with different models of speckled sizes and shapes that bear a resemblance to the specimen.

2. Work Shop

Here students are getting themselves conversant with mechanism and modus operandi of all the mechanical paraphernalia, tools and utensils.

3. Fluid Mechanics Lab.

This lab is well equiped to perform the practical related to the fluid flow.

4. Material Technology Lab.
This lab is well equiped to carry out the practicals related to the materials. It has muffle furnance, Metallurgical Microscope. Various microscope specimens can be studied in the lab.

5. Dynamics of Machine Lab.
This lab is well equiped to carry out the practicals using the equipments like Giroscope, Corollis component of acceleration, Epliclik gear train apparctus etc. Wide variety of models are also available to demostrate simple mechanism.

6. Engineering Drawing Lab
The college edifice has two full-size and spacious drawing halls which can accommodate 45 students each. One additional drawing halll for industrial drafting & machine design is also available.

Thus the Mech Engineering department is well equiped to provide the explosure to the students regarding the latest in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
