Electrical Engineering
Electrical Engineering Department has well qualified & learned teachers (4 teachers have M.E./M.Tech degree in field of Electrical Power System/Microprocessors/Power Electronics). Department possesses well equipped eight laboratories with major equipments. Department aims to impart quality education as per syllabus and giving ample opportunities to students and staff members to gain required exposure in latest trends in the technology.

Department aims to impart quality education as per syllabus and development by giving ample opportunities to students as well as staff members to gain required exposure in latest trends in the field of electrical engineering.
The department has various teaching aids like multimedia presentations, simulators, transparencies, charts and cut-sections to make the students learn the subjects in lucid manner. There is huge collection of textbooks, reference books, magazines, journals and CDs in the Departmental Library.
COUNSELING OF STUDENTS
Department is having strategy of 1 counselor per 20 students. Counselors take all care of students from their academic performance to personal problems. Attendance of students is sent regularly to their parents. Students’ parents also remain in touch with department for progress report of the students.
FUTURE PLAN
To expand academically, department is preparing for Accreditation and to start a P.G. program. We are in process to provide Energy Auditing facilities.
INDUSTRIAL LIASIONING
Department interacts with industries in various forms like
1. By provides testing facilities to the industries.
2. Regular students’ visit and training in industries
3. Industry participation through Arranging seminars, Workshops etc.
4. Experts from industries are invited to deliver their knowledge & exposure in their field.
5. Yearly in-house training program on PLC Automation & SCADA certified by ISA chapter, Pune.
ALUMNI
We have active alumni association. Alumni meet is organized every year wherein they guide the students to prepare for campus and other activities. Suggestions of alumni are obtained for modification in syllabus and up-gradation in the facilities offered.

1. AICTE sponsored one day national level seminar on “Efficient Utilization of Electrical Energy” for Professionals from teaching & industry, organized on 24th Oct. 2004.
2. 6 days training program for students on “PLC & SCADA AUTOMATION” by Automation & Control Systems, Pune. on 01-05 Aug.2005.
3. GUJCOST sponsored one day national level paper presentation competition for final year P.G. and U.G. students of Engineering on “Excellence in Energy Management”.on 5th March 2006.
4. A Workshop on "Energy Conservation Awareness" Organized by GEDA on March 1,2007.
5. 6 days training program for students on "PLC & SCADA AUTOMATION" by Automation & Control System, Pune during 1-6 Oct. 2007.
