get the best computer & IT education. And for that,
this department is giving its best to the students.
The department has 6 well furnished, state-of-the-art
computer labs. There are 300 Compaq Deskpro PCs with
Pentium III 1GHz processor and pre-installed MS Windows
98 SE. Apart from that, there are additional 150 assembled
computers. This unit is well knit an excellent connected.
In the midest of the Open Source software.
we can't forget the contribution and the extent of proprietary
software like WINDOWS, ORACLE, SQL etc., So we have
WINDOWS 2000 Adv. Server, ORACLE, and SQL server for
our file and application server.
There are total 20 NORTEL switches[450,420],
which are manageable, Total 350 personal computers in
6 different labs across college, are connected to this
network using cat6 cable.

Students are facilitate to choose elective
subjects like Parallel Processing, Grid Computing, Mobile
Computing, .net technology, Embedded Systems and many
more.
The organizations like Indian Army, Vaman Technology,
TCS, PCS, Sasken Communication Technologies Ltd., DDE-ORG,
BISAG, Wipro Technologies, System Plus, E-Infochip,
Hutch , IDEA , BSNL, Reliance Infocomm Ltd., Argusoft
, Progression, Satyam, Sahjanand Laser Technologies,
Ace Software, etc. conduct campus interviews and offer
placement to many of our final and Pre-final semester
students. In just 2 passed out batches the Department has groomed
many young and dynamic computer professionals who are
serving in eminent industries. The students have been
performing very well in the University Examinations
by securing top ranks. As a part of the co-curricular
activities the students are participating in various
state and national level competitions and have won several
prizes in various competitions.
