Mission
... is to achieve national prominence by providing outstanding education and research training to our undergraduate students for their productive careers in industry, academia, and government. We strive for excellence in research, teaching and service covering the fundamental as well as applied aspects of computer science. Our faculty will establish nationally and internationally recognized research programs, including those of interdisciplinary nature, and actively engage our students in the research to provide broad educational and research experiences for them both in and out of the classroom. We will help our students develop the skills to solve the complex technological problems of modern society and also provide a framework for promoting collaborative and multidisciplinary activities.
