Students
and Faculty can issue Books, Multimedia and Periodicals(Back Issues). The
circulation counter is open from 7.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.. You can also reserve a
book.
Current
Awareness Services (CAS)
Library
brings out a CAS Bulletin every month in 3 Issues, Issue 1 covers the CE/IT,
EC, IC & MCA Departments; Issue 2 covers Electrical, Mechanical & Civil
Departments and Issue 3 covers the General Department and also covers the
General Book reviews avaiable from the General Magazines, Newspapers etc. and
also the list of New additions.
Abstracting
and Indexing Services
Library
also brings out the Abstracts with Index bulletins- ACEIT, AEC, AIC biannually
of articles appearing in International Journals.
Selective Dissemination
of Information(SDI)
Faculty
profiles are maintained and are compared with the document profiles available
in the library and then a match is made based on which the list of documents
are listed to the faculty. Also based on the request made by the faculty the personalized
services are offered.
Document
Delivery Service on the Net
Faculty can
make a request for the full text articles from the resources subscribed to by
providing the citations of the articles and the same will be downloaded and forwarded
to them via the Email or personally through multimedia.
Inter- Library
Loan (
Using
DELNET services the library provides a Inter Library Loan facility based on the
requirement of the faculty by paying a nominal charge of Photocopies @Rs.2/-
and courier charges.

Services
Reprography
service is available inside the library on the ground floor.
Orientation
and Information Literacy Programmes
The
following lectures are given to the faculty and students for better utilization
of the Learning resources available in the library.
Library Orientation is a programme
conducted to make the users known to the Library and its resources; educating
them as to when and how the different sources of information and documents be
consulted for study and research.
Information Literacy Programme to educate
the users on using the different Information resources available on the Net.
